pickleball

According to the Sport and Fitness Industry Association (SFIA), pickleball participation grew by a whopping 21.3% in 2021, as Americans looked for new ways to stay active during the pandemic, and it further grew by an astonishing 29.4% in 2022. Pickleball is a combination of tennis, badminton and ping-pong with fast-paced play at the net. It can be played by singles or in pairs, either indoors or outside. Naples also happens to be the center of the pickleball universe as the U.S. Open Pickleball Championships are held here each April.

We are even playing pickleball under the stars, hosting DaZZleball events at multiple venues in Collier County, including right here at Antilles.

Naples is the pickleball capital of the World and DaZZleball is also home to Naples.

bocce

Bocce, which evolved into its modern iteration in Italy, shares close ties with British bowls and French pétanque, all tracing their roots back to ancient games enjoyed in the days of the Roman Empire. The game of bocce finds enthusiasts across Western, Southern, and Southeastern Europe. It has also journeyed overseas, finding a home in regions with a historical presence of Italian immigrants. These areas include Australia, North America, and South America, particularly in Argentina and the southern Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Sul. Initially embraced primarily by Italian immigrants, the game has gradually gained popularity among their descendants and a wider audience.

Its expansive 5,000-square-foot interior spaces are thoughtfully designed to meet the demands of modern-day fitness, business activities, and social gatherings. This creates an elegant hub for homeowners to come together, unwind, attend classes, or host events.
